Are you an enthusiastic teacher with a passion for Business & Economics Studies? Surbiton High School is excited to welcome a new member to our dynamic Business and Economics Department.
Business and Economics are two of the most popular A‑level subjects at Surbiton High School, with over 100 pupils studying them across the Sixth Form. Both subjects attract academically capable, motivated, and intellectually curious pupils who are eager to deepen their understanding of the theories that shape the world around them.
Outcomes across both departments are consistently excellent. Business delivers outstanding value added, resulting in strong A‑level performance year on year. Economics results are similarly impressive. A significant proportion of pupils continue their studies at highly regarded universities, with over 60% of Business pupils and 65% of Economics pupils progressing to Business‑ or Economics‑related degrees. Many secure places at Oxbridge, Russell Group institutions, and other UK top‑10 universities.
You will be joining a specialised and passionate team of three teachers across the two subjects, each bringing varied professional and academic backgrounds.
