St Joseph's College is seeking to recruit a Chemistry Teacher to cover maternity absence from 1 September 2026 (or earlier if possible).

Detail

We require an inspirational and forward-thinking Chemistry teacher to join the Science Department to cover maternity absence on a fixed term contract from September 2026 (or earlier). This contract will terminate when the employee who is on maternity leave returns to work and this should be no later than 24 March 2027. The position is offered part-time (minimum 0.6 FTE) although full-time hours may be available for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be able to teach GCSE and A Level (ideally) and will seek to contribute to the growing Science extra-curricular programme and aim to encourage students to leave the College with an enthusiasm and interest in the subject.
