We are seeking a passionate and qualified Peripatetic Teacher of German to deliver high-quality AS Level German lessons for a small cohort of students from September 2025.

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Peripatetic Teacher of German to deliver high-quality AS Level German lessons for a small cohort of students from September 2025.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced linguist or language specialist who enjoys working flexibly and can inspire learners in a one-to-one or small group setting.

Hours: Approx. 2 hours per week

Start Date: September 2025

Salary: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective AS Level German lessons
  • Support students in developing their language skills across reading, writing, listening, and speaking
  • Prepare students for AS Level assessments and exams
  • Provide regular feedback and progress updates

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
  • Strong subject knowledge of German, particularly at AS Level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)

Desirable:

  • Experience teaching post-16 learners
  • Familiarity with current AS Level specifications (e.g. AQA or Edexcel)
