Summary

The Matron deals with the health and welfare of the pupils, and has a special role in assisting the Housemaster/mistress to create a happy and well-ordered atmosphere throughout the Boarding House.

Detail

The position requires someone who understands and empathises with young people and is able to demonstrate good sense. They should have excellent interpersonal skills, be a good listener, flexible in outlook, reliable, warm and friendly in disposition.

We are seeking one or two team members to cover 20–40 hours per week. The anticipated hours will be within 8am–6pm, including some weekends on a rota basis. The role is 34 weeks per year (term time including INSET).
