Mount Kelly is seeking to appoint an exceptional and inspirational Deputy Head Academic on a full time and permanent basis from September 2027.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Deputy Head Academic will provide strategic leadership for the academic life of the School, ensuring the highest standards of teaching, learning and pupil achievement. They will lead the continued development of an ambitious, innovative and inclusive academic provision, fostering a culture of excellence while ensuring that academic success remains firmly aligned with the School’s values and broader educational mission. The successful candidate will be expected to play a full part in the life of our busy boarding school which is located on the outskirts of the attractive market town of Tavistock on the edge of Dartmoor National Park in Devon.
