Loughborough Schools Foundation is seeking an outstanding, forward-thinking and ambitious Head to lead Loughborough High School through the next exciting stage of its development.

Loughborough High School is part of the Loughborough Schools Foundation, a charitable foundation of three independent schools and a Nursery in the heart of Loughborough, providing for children from 6 weeks to 18 years. The schools enjoy a high reputation for their academic, cultural and sporting achievements and for the quality of their pastoral care. The schools are situated on the beautiful leafy campus of Burton Walks on the south side of the town.

Loughborough High School sets the standard for girls’ education in the region. With an exceptional range of A Level and GCSE subjects, we deliver a rich, rigorous curriculum designed to challenge and inspire. Our students’ results consistently rank us among the top performing independent schools in the UK, and we proudly hold the title of the highest-performing girls’ school in the East Midlands region. In September 2026, we were also named by The Telegraph as best value private school in the East Midlands. Loughborough High School students benefit from single sex education on a co-educational campus shared with Loughborough Grammar School.
