Ipswich High School seeks to appoint an outstanding, passionate and dynamic whole school Director of Sport and Head of Boys PE with effect from 1st September 2025. The successful applicant will join a department which enjoys an outstanding reputation and is staffed by a further six qualified PE teachers, along with specialist swimming teachers and a range of coaches and peripatetic staff.

In addition to finding an outstanding teacher, we are seeking to appoint an individual who is excited by the opportunity to build on the department’s success and has a clear vision for how this will continue during the coming years.

Located on an idyllic 87-acre campus on the banks of the River Orwell, Ipswich High School enjoys an enviable reputation of delivering outstanding academic results whilst maintaining a warm, welcoming and happy community of over 500 pupils, aged 3-18.
