A fantastic opportunity for a Part Time Head of Art and Design (Maternity Cover), starting September 2026 to join our school.

The successful candidate will join a thriving and dynamic Art department. Art is offered throughout the school in KS2/ KS3 and as an examination option at GCSE and A Level. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for learning and teaching as well as a proven track record of excellent results and inspirational teaching.

The successful candidate will be an effective professional, knowledgeable and passionate about their subject and able to inspire a love for art, design and creative development. The successful candidate should also be willing to contribute to the school’s varied and rewarding co-curricular programme.

Salary will be determined according to qualifications and experience. The City of London Freemen’s School operates its own salary scale which is substantially above the national pay scales.
